Summit Human Capital is seeking a highly motivated Manager of Security Engineering to support one of our largest clients in the Health Care field. Hybrid setting in either NJ or PA. The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:
Required:
- 5+ years of recent Cloud Security and Management experience
- Proficiency in AWS or Azure and working experience with WIZ IO (cloud security tool)
- Familiarity with Terraform and Ansible to oversee and automate security measures within cloud environments across various platforms, including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Experience with Jira.
- Coding proficiency in Python; beyond scripting.
- Experience managing cross functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team in designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-native security solutions using Terraform and Ansible across AWS, Azure, and GCP, focusing 80% on hands-on work and 20% on management.
- Manage tasks in Jira, review code, and oversee deployment and configuration of cloud security controls, ensuring best practices to protect company data.
- Develop and implement security platforms like Wiz, integrating tools into the DevOps pipeline while creating security-focused IaC templates.
- Collaborate with the Digital Center of Excellence to promote a unified security approach and contribute to the security roadmap, communicating the vision to management.
- Drive the adoption of new technologies to enhance cloud infrastructure and provide mentorship on best practices in securing cloud environments.
- Develop KPIs and reporting for managing cloud projects, security initiatives, and risks.
